Meet Buddha! <br/>If you're looking for a loyal companion with a heart as big as he is, Buddha may be your perfect match!<br/>Buddha is about one-year-old Staffy mix, weighs 65 pounds, and is neutered, vaccinated, and ready for his forever home,<br/>He came into our foster program as an unclaimed stray. Despite his rough start, he hasn't let it dampen his spirit. This handsome boy is friendly, affectionate, and quickly learning what it means to be part of a loving family.<br/>Buddha is playful, energetic, and always ready for fun. He loves tossing toys into the air, chewing on durable toys and antlers, and wrestling with his foster brother and sister. Walks are one of his favorite activities, and he's making great progress with leash manners and off-leash recall.<br/>He's also learning that downtime is important! Buddha settles nicely in his crate for "enforced nap time" during the day and sleeps quietly in it at night.<br/>While he hasn't been around cats in his foster home, he does show a strong interest in chasing squirrels, chipmunks, and livestock. Because of this, we recommend a home without small animals, or one with an experienced adopter committed to careful introductions and training.<br/>Buddha would likely adore children, but his size and enthusiasm could accidentally knock over little ones during play. As with many young dogs, we expect much of his boundless energy to mellow with age, revealing the couch-loving companion we know is in there.<br/>Buddha is a total sweetheart who deserves a family to call his own.
