Bud's Story

Bo (brown) & Bud (black/white) are two 8-week-old adorable lab super mixes who are ready to find their forever homes
These boys came to us from one of our rural shelter partners after their mama arrived very pregnant and soon gave birth to an incredible 13 puppies. While their mama only weighed about 40 pounds, she somehow managed to grow and deliver a baker's dozen of babies. And honestly... once those puppies hit about four weeks old and grew tiny sets of teeth, she was officially done with motherhood. Thirteen hungry little leeches was simply too much, and she made it very clear she was ready for a break.
So we stepped in and gave mama the separation and rest she deserved, while the puppies headed off to a loving foster home. From that moment on, everyone started thriving - mama included.
Bo and Bud have spent the last several weeks growing up in foster care where they've blossomed into the sweetest, happiest little pups. They absolutely love people, hand out puppy kisses like it's their full-time job, and have that classic goofy lab energy that makes everyone fall in love. They're curious, playful, and full of that joyful puppy spirit.
They've also been around other dogs and do wonderfully, making them great candidates for homes with canine siblings or families ready for all the fun (and cuddles!) that come with raising a puppy.
After such a big start to life, these boys are more than ready for their next chapter - homes of their own where they can keep growing, learning, and being the lovable little goofballs they are.
If you're looking for a sweet, social, kiss-giving puppy to add to your family, Bo and Bud might just be your perfect match.
