<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"><span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: small;">Meet Bucky!<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span>He is a 7 month old beagle, who is 14 inches tall and weighs 21 lbs.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span>He has probably reached his full height, but does have some filling out to do.&nbsp;<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Bucky was rescued from a home where he was being left alone for long periods of time in a back yard with no people contact. </span></p><br/><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"><span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: small;">&nbsp;Bucky has been working hard on developing good house manners since coming to his foster home.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span>He uses the dog door and is crate trained.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span>As a puppy, Bucky will need to be crated when left alone at home.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span>To a pup, there are just too many wonderful things to explore (get into) when you have lots of time on your paws!<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span>Bucky is a busy boy when outside.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span>Digging for treasure is a favorite activity, but he is a generous boy and loves bringing you surprises!<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span>Bucky plays well with his foster siblings, but may do fine as an only dog as long as he has 2 legged friends to play with!<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span>Bucky can be a little too noisy for a townhouse or an apartment. <br /></span></p><br/><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"><span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: small;">What Bucky needs the most is someone to cuddle and love him.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span>He loves spending all his quiet time on your lap and would much prefer sleeping on your bed to his crate at night.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span>Bucky craves the attention and love that he was denied for too long.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span>Please apply today to meet this sweet and handsome boy.</span></p><br/><p>If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, THE FIRST STEP is to complete our adoption questionnaire. Please visit our website here and follow the instructions on adoption: <a href="http://www.houstonbeaglerescue.org/">Houston Beagle Rescue</a> Our regular adoption fee is $225; special needs, mixes and senior dogs are $175, and pups 8 months and younger are $275. The fee includes the spay/neuter, the vaccines, flea and heartworm preventative/treatment, a new leash/ collar/ rescue ID tag, microchip, and some training. Some dogs may have had additional vetcare such as orthopedic surgeries, heartworm treatment or other procedures, but these "extras" will not affect their adoption fee.
