Bucky's Story

I pulled Bucky aka Buckshot from Animal Control because he was severely emaciated and had a broken leg. He is now healthy and his leg is healed. His history is unknown but he is so sweet. He gets along with other dogs and people. Due to his age (approx. 2yrs old) he is very energetic and playful so he would do better with older children and bigger dogs. It's obvious he's never had any training but he's very young so training with consistency and patience would work well with him. He does good with crate training and leash training. He's been around a pot bellied pig and doesn't seem to care either way. He is heartworm positive but has been on slow kill treatment with Proheart injections since April 2024.
