Buck's Story
Meet Buck!

This gorgeous guy is looking for his forever home! He's around 3 years old and is about 65 pounds. He has a personality to match his stunning looks! He's incredibly sweet with people, good with other dogs, and is great on a leash.

He seems to have some pretty good manners and will generally sit when asked, especially if you happen to have a treat in your hand! Buck LOVES food and treats, and he's certainly not picky, so hopefully that helps out with any training you want to do with him. He would be an excellent running/walking/hiking buddy.

He's spent a little time in a foster home and we learned that he seems to be housetrained. He likes to sleep in a dog bed at night. He also doesn't seem to want to chew on things he shouldn't. Sounds like a great starting point for any dog!

He's not been around cats that we know of, so we can't adopt him into a home with cats.

Buck's adoption fee is $600 which includes his neuter, current vaccinations (rabies, 2 parvo/distemper boosters, bordatella), negative heartworm test, registered microchip, negative fecal, health certificate, and transport costs.

He is available through Paw Pals of Hale Center, a partner rescue of Project Freedom Ride. We are located in the Texas Panhandle. He is located here in Texas with our rescue. He would be transported on one of the PFR transports to either Meridian ID, SLC, UT, Seattle, WA, Mt Vernon, WA, Kennewick, WA, Portland, OR, Buffalo/Syracuse/Newburgh/Castleton on Hudson, NY, Philadelphia, PA, Cleveland, OH, Springfield or Chicago, IL, Halethorpe, MD, Lansing, MI, Madison, WI, Minneapolis, MN, Des Moines, IA, Kansas City, MO, Indianapolis, IN, Springfield/Richmond, VA or Bedminster, NJ. For more information on how a Direct Adoption with Project Freedom Ride works or to meet this guy via video call, email pawpalshc@gmail.com.

As a Paw Pals of Hale Center direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet would take place on video call (FB Messenger Call, Facetime, Whats App, or Google Duo). The adoption application and fee would be finalized prior to transport.

Adoption application can be accessed below. Copy/paste the link into your browser.
