Bubble Gum's Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Bubble Gum and her brother, Gummi Bear, found themselves orphaned and suckling on their deceased mom. They were bottle fed in West Texas. They have gone unwanted and their time is near the end in their city. They are great with other dogs, and people, cats are unknown. All dogs and puppies require supervision and training to be successful.
Bubble Gum is potty trained and crate trained. She prefers to be outside of her crate but willingly goes in when asked and settles down quickly. She is friendly towards all people but can be reserved when meeting strangers however don’t let that fool you. Once she’s familiar with you she becomes very affectionate and follows you around everywhere. A nice thing about her is she does not have separation anxiety. She’s a bit shy at first when meeting new dogs. She prefers dogs who are respectful of her space until she is more comfortable. Once she knows they are friendly she opens up. Like with all dogs a slow introduction is best. Bubble Gum had never been a leash before coming to Minnesota but has improved a lot on walks.Bubble Gum is a very curious girl and loves exploring. She likes sniffing everything unfamiliar to her. She does well by herself and will keep herself entertained with her toys or sitting by the window and watching the world go by. When something catches her eyes, she will bark and run up to you and alert you. She likes to seek attention by resting her head on your lap and asks for neck scratches. When she gets playing and gets excited, she can get mouthy.Bubble Gum will need a fenced yard as she loves running around or a family who is active. She does tend to bark when she sees a squirrel/rabbit or people walking by, hears other dogs barking outside or unfamiliar noises. Bubble gum has stayed over at other fosters’ house before and has done well with the resident dogs. She can do well in a home with another dog or otherwise she will do well by herself. She hasn’t been tested with cats but she likes chasing squirrels and rabbits so maybe not.
Please put in your application on our website mattysheartandsoulanimalrescue.rescuegroups.org.
