Bubbas

Meet Bubbas, a 7-year-old male bully mixed breed with a handsome short black coat and a distinguished sugar snout! Weighing around 38 pounds, Bubbas may be a mature gentleman, but he still gets excited when meeting new people. Once the introductions are over, he is more than happy to settle in for some well-deserved cuddles. Bubbas is a gentle soul with a loving heart, and he is good with other dogs. However, he cannot go to a home with cats.

Bubbas is an ongoing medical case who is looking for a loving and dedicated adopter willing to continue supporting his care. He has been recovering from a skin infection and has already undergone corrective eyelid surgery. Bubbas also has eyelashes that grow directly from the margin of his upper eyelids and rub against his eyes. This is a separate condition from entropion, which is when the eyelids themselves roll inward. Because of the eyelash issue, Bubbas will need another specialized corrective surgery to help preserve his lifelong comfort and sight. His future family should be prepared for continued veterinary care and follow-up as he receives the treatment he needs.

Bubbas has been neutered, is up to date on vaccinations, and is microchipped. His adoption fee is $260. Bubbas has already been through a lot, and what he needs now is someone willing to stand beside him through the rest of his medical journey. In return, you’ll gain a gentle, affectionate companion who loves his cuddles and is ready to devote his golden years to someone who will devote themselves to him. If you have the heart and commitment to give Bubbas the loving, dedicated home he deserves, please come meet him. For more information on Bubbas, or any of our other adoptable pets, please contact Cascades Humane Society at 517-787-7387 or stop by 1515 Carmen Drive in Jackson, MI.
