Meet Bubba, a chihuahua/dauschound mix. He's 14 years old and we rescued him with his brother who was adopted from someone who could no longer take care of them. Bubba is good with other dogs but takes a little time to warm up to new people. He likes to go on walks and is comfortable around other dogs. He loves to burrow in his bed and be a bolster for his brother. It would be great if he could be adopted with his brother but they are not a bonded pair. Bubba is neutered, microchipped, and current on shots. He weighs about 11 lbs. Downtown Dog Rescue's Adoption Policy

Please submit an application online on our website. Once reviewed and approved we will arrange a meeting. If both parties feel its a good match, we set up a virtual or in-person home visit, complete the adoption contract and donation ($250), and arrange a time to deliver your new companion. Please note: Our dogs are available for adoption in the greater Los Angeles area. We do not adopt out of state.
