Bubba's Story

Are you ready for your new best friend? Well here he is! Bubba loves his humans more than anything - more than treats, more than toys, more than walks. This handsome fella's favorite thing will be just hanging out with you.

As a low-to-medium energy guy, Bubba is very easy to get along with. He may have one or two bursts of energy a day, but throw the ball for him for 5 or 10 minutes and he's all set. If you have a fenced in yard, he may not even want regular walks. Generally, Bubba is content to chill at your side while you watch TV or snooze at your feet while you work. When you're eating, he doesn't beg, and he doesn't "counter surf" for leftovers. And when you leave for work, he'll patiently hang out until you get back. Bubba is fully house-trained and knows several commands, like "sit" and "shake." He would surely enjoy learning some new ones.

Bubba's original owner surrendered him when the owner became disabled and could no longer care for him. Bubba is ready for his new, forever home. After all of this change, he'll probably be a little anxious for a few days, but with a little time, he's going to settle right in.

Bubba can get along with chill dogs, but doesn't love dogs that are too high energy and won't back off. He can also do well with dog-savvy cats that don't pay him much attention, but with cats that meow and seem like they are trying to engage will make him think they are interested in some roughhousing. Ideally, Bubba will be your only pet, which will be just fine for you because he'll love you as much as three pets combined!
