Bubba's Story

Meet Bubba!

Bubba is a guessed 10-month-old Cattle Dog x bully breed mix - but as always, your guess is as good as ours! What we do know for sure is that he's a big-hearted, sweet, and lovable young dog who's ready for a fresh start.

Bubba and his brother were taken in by a kind couple who truly wanted to help, but quickly realized they were in over their heads. As the boys grew, they became larger and stronger than the family felt comfortable handling. After a lot of thought, they made the heartbreaking decision to relinquish one of them so he could have the chance at a home better suited to his needs. That lucky pup is Bubba.

Bubba has always lived as an outside dog, so he will need some work on home manners, including house training, crate training, and basic obedience. But we always say - you can teach skills, but you can't teach personality - and Bubba has a truly wonderful one. He is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and eager to bond with his people.

Because a fenced yard is all he's ever known, Bubba will need time, patience, and guidance as he learns about life indoors and the wider world. He's still catching up on foundational skills, socialization, and confidence building, and his future family should be prepared to invest in helping him grow into the best version of himself. With consistency, structure, and love, we know Bubba will absolutely thrive.

Bubba is searching for a home that understands young dogs, enjoys training, and is excited to watch a pup blossom. With just a little effort and a lot of love, Bubba is going to make someone an amazing, loyal, and rewarding companion.
