Brutus's Story

And the award for “Most Handsome Dog Ever” goes to this STUNNING specimen, Brutus!!! ?
Brutus has been failed many times by humans. ?
We are not sure how he ended up at the shelter in Texas, but he was then adopted from the shelter. Unfortunately, he did not get his happily ever after. When we found Brutus for the first time, wandering by a small lake, he was microchipped and we returned him to the owner. When we found him again, a few weeks later, in a totally different city, we assumed the owner did not want him at all. They agreed to surrender him to the rescue.
Being the most beautiful dog around, also comes with a lot of anxiety. Brutus just completed a board and train, in which he learned that the right humans will keep him safe. He learned that he doesn’t have to be on edge with the right humans on his side. He learned dogs cues and how his humans can support and teach him the right ways to meet and coexist with others.
Brutus LOVES humans, a good couch, security and love. He gives the biggest smile to new people he meets.
This hunk would do amazing in an only dog home, but could also thrive in a home with other dogs. That home will have to set boundaries and keep him confident and feeling safe.
Brutus also loves puppies and plays with his foster puppy friends.
Anyone interested in fostering or adopting this boy, has the luxury of zoom calls with the trainer to learn more about Brutus and to keep him on the right path to an amazing home. He was definitely a favorite at the trainers. ?
Apply on our website dawgsfightback.com
