We were contacted after their beloved owner was diagnosed with brain cancer and is sadly nearing the end of her life. Her family reached out to find these boys a safe place to go, and when her son brought them to the sanctuary, the tears were abundant.<br/><br/>It was immediately clear just how much Brutus and Thor mean to their family. Having to make arrangements for the two dogs she loves so dearly is an incredibly difficult part of an already heartbreaking journey.<br/><br/>We took Brutus and Thor into our care and made their owner a promise, one we do not take lightly. We promised to find them the most perfect, loving home. A home where they would be safe, well cared for, and cherished for the rest of their lives. We wanted her to have peace of mind knowing that her boys would be okay, allowing her to focus on spending her remaining time with her family without having to worry about what the future holds for them. <br/><br/>Now, it's our turn to keep that promise.<br/><br/>Brutus and Thor are quite the characters! These sweet, loving boys have so much personality and so much love to give.
