Bruno Bear's Story

Sweet Bruno-Bear was almost euthanized at the shelter due to severe kennel stress. Within hours of being saved from death row, he was rolling in the backyard grass at his foster home, clearly taking it all in that he had just been saved.

Outside of the shelter, he is a happy, healthy dog who is just starved for love and affection - he literally prances around the yard in joy when you toss a toy for him. He loves his foster sister Mochi, cheese, and going for walks. After a play session, he likes to wind down with a bit of cuddling by snuggling in close and resting his head on your lap or chest.

As he is young and high-energy, our trainers are working with him on his leash pulling and jumping when excited. Bruno takes his training seriously and is very sincere about trying to be a good boy.

Due to his excitability, he would probably do better with older children. He may also do better with female dogs than male.

This gorgeous teddy bear has been waiting so, so long for a family to call his own.

Could it be with you?
