Bruno's Story

We started Bruno's care at our rescue more than 6 months ago- when he was surrendered to our rescue with his littermates. They were found on the side of the road, where one had been hit by a car and two others were incredibly sick. Bruno was diagnosed with a Parvo and Distemper. He was infested with fleas and he had ticks. Brunos was also suffering from jaundice. Once he got him healthy, it was hard to take him out, and to go places with him to socialize because he had begun to resource guard me so most recently we put Bruno into a board and train for over two weeks. Here he learned how to walk on a leash And commands like 'leave it,' 'let's go,' 'hold and good boy Bruno!' Bruno is a working breed our best best guess is that he has a German shepherd Belgian Malinois mix. He weighs 75 pounds. He is vaccinated Neutered and Microchipped. He would not do well in a home with cats or little animals. He has learned to coexist with dogs, his size, but would need help from his trainer to acclimate. A meeting with his trainer would be mandatory before adopting Bruno. Brunos trainer is located in Los Angeles. Bruno has a prey drive for birds and squirrels and lizards, which is why we do not suggest he live with small animals Bruno NEEDS an experienced handler. Someone who will give him the attention he needs along with the exercise he requires. Bruno needs to walk, at least 2 to 3 miles per day and needs his commands implemented because he is a working dog much like a soldier. You will need to earn Bruno's trust in order to form a relationship with him. If you were interested in adopting Bruno, please send your inquiry to info@concernedCitizensanimalrescue.org and we will send you an application as soon as possible. We do not transport animals and we do not accept phone calls initially thank you for your interest in Bruno. * Bruno comes with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org.
