Bruno

Bruno is a sweet German Shepherd that ended up in a shelter I work with due to no fault of his own. Bruno was let to run as he wished and the previous owner was ticketed for him running at large and had to go to court. The owner did very little for this boy for his care and thankfully he was surrendered in lieu of him ending up dead on the road. This sweet boy has had a rough go with life and the rescue is going to look for a very specific home for him. <br/><br/>Bruno loves other dogs and does good with proper introductions with indoor kitties. He will chase an outdoor kitty but will not hurt the kitty. He just thinks the chase is on. Bruno needs a home that his paw parents are home more than not. He is shy initially but warms up quickly and is a VELCRO boy. He will not leave your side once that bond has been created. Bruno can not be boarded or left in any kennel environment unless it is for a medical need. This is key for his well being. He stresses horribly in these environments and his tummy becomes horribly stressed. Any family willing to adopt him must agree to this and any travel will require someone to stay in the home to keep his safe and happy in the environment he has grown to love. <br/><br/>Bruno loves to play fetch and would ideally do great in home with another playful dog or a home that the owner will interact daily and play with this sweet boy. He really loves other dogs and wants to play and play some more!<br/>In the time he has been with his current and dedicated foster we have determined he needs a quieter home. We also do not feel that apartment life is a good choice for him. His ideal home is one that is quiet and a fenced yard is needed. Bruno is doing good on his potty training but will have the occasional accident if not crated at night or his que to be let out realized. This boy is incredibly loving and he know numerous commands. He is very obedient and takes correction very well. He is an easy boy to train and he learns quickly!<br/><br/>This boy is one of the sweetest shepherds we have ever saved. He is incredibly loving and just wants to be next to his person or persons. He has been a dream at the vets office and any outings we have taken him on, Everyone that has met this boy has fallen in love.
