Bruno's Story

Meet Bruno - 9 months old (approximately), he went from hiding in an empty lot in Mexico - rocking the hangry and limpy look to healing up like a champ and making his way to a foster home in Ontario.
This scrappy little dude was found super skinny with an injured foot. He received the vet care he so badly needed and was finally cleared to travel.
He weights in currently at 9kg and will be a small to medium size when grown.
Bruno has made his way to Toronto area and is dreaming of a home of his own. Bruno is ready to steal your heart and your snacks (he does love food so!).
Bruno did well with his foster dogs, so another confident dog would be a dream sibling for him. If you are between Toronto and Burlington and interested, please message us for a connection to the foster home.

PVCA Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy
Our sister organization, the SPCA Puerto Vallarta, has a sanctuary, staff, trainer and medical team who work with the dogs and cats until they are deemed "adoptable". Once they pass their health exams, which include blood tests which certify they are able to cross borders, they are transported to Canada and/or the United States and enter foster or permanent homes. All our animals come sterilized, and fully vaccinated and dewormed. Our organization relies on the caring volunteers who open their homes and foster the animals until they are adopted. We do not have a sanctuary or shelter in Canada or the United States. Visits must be arranged and we prefer an adoption application to be filled out and approved before visitation.
