Bruiser's Story

Bruiser is one of the goofiest, most affectionate dogs around! He may seem timid at a first encounter, but once he grows to be comfortable with you, there is no stopping him from his outdoor zoomies, resting his head in your lap, playing with squeaky toys that seem too small for a large dog, and simply being your best pal. Bruiser gets along well with most dogs and likes to run along-side them or playfully jump on them. He knows how to sit, shake, and stay ...especially when there is a treat or meal on the line! He is VERY food motivated.

Bruiser prefers adults over children as kids make him very anxious. When he is anxious or nervous, he has shown subtle reactive tendencies, so it will be best for him to be in a calm, kid-free environment. He has a medium energy level, meaning that he thrives with some morning and evening play/walk time, but he is also perfectly content to lounge around the home while you work or go out for a while! We know his perfect home is out there waiting for him!

Bruiser is participating in the iRehome program. All iRehome dogs are being rehomed by their current owner. All iRehome behavioral and medical information is provided by the dog's current owner. TLP encourages all adopters to verify the information with the current owner prior to completing the adoption process.
