Bruin Australian Shepherd & Alaskan Malamute Mix Bethel, CT

Meet Bruin, a stunning one-year-old, 70 lb. Australian Shepherd/Husky mix who took quite the journey to get where she is today. Bruin was a stray that was picked up and brought to a local shelter in Orange County, CA. After her stray hold was up, she was scheduled to be euthanized due to lack of space but a kind woman in Connecticut refused to let that happen and with the help of a rescue in California, got her pulled and transported across the country.

Bruin is a tall and lanky girl with the softest, fluffiest coat and captivating brown eyes. She is super affectionate, sweet, and an obedient young lady. Bruin is extremely social and loves dogs of all sizes – she needs a home with a fenced yard that she can run in and ideally another pup that she can play with. She has also tested well with cats and just wants to be everyone’s best friend. Bruin has been around children 10+ years old and is great, but she hasn't met any small kids, however if they’re dog savvy, she’d likely be fine.

She is very smart dog and a recent graduate from Acadia Canine Academy where she attended a four-week board and train program. Bruin is house and crate trained and also walks well on a leash. She's literally a perfect dog and will make a wonderful addition to any family!
