Meet Bruce Wayne! Estimated to be around 1-2 years old and just under 50lbs, he's the perfect companion size! He came in as a scared and skinny local stray; Bruce is now a healthy weight. He is still shy but very food motivated. Once he warms up to you this little guy has a sweet and spunky attitude. Loves to play with toys but also settles down to curl up on the couch near you. Bruce is house trained, crate trained, knows basic commands, and has good house manners. He walks well on leash and rides in the car nicely. Another dog in the house will be necessary to help Bruce gain confidence and adjust smoothly

Friends for Life Dog Rescue's Adoption Policy

Potential adopters can visit our website and fill out an adoption application. We then do a vet check and a phone call to them. They come and visit the dog they are interested in at the foster home. There are at least 3 visits with the potential adopters and depending on whether there are other dogs in the household there is more than one visit with said dogs. At least one of the visits is at the potential adopters home so that a home inspection can be done. We encourage walking the dog and play interaction. We talk with potential adopters about training and decompression. We also offer help after adoption with any issues that arise.
