Bruce Wayne's Story

18-month-old neutered male black Lab/Shepherd mix "Bruce Wayne"

Background.
Holy Havanese, Batman! This beautiful young Labrador mix (named "Bruce Wayne" by the Stanislaus shelter in Modesto) was found as a stray... and ran out of time at the shelter. We got him out of there and into a foster home a day prior to his euthanasia date. Phew!.

Kennel-side: https://youtube.com/shorts/C50VGcuYmOw?si=z-BonZqkky6yDj1p

Being handsome: https://youtube.com/shorts/7IUPPikjdyU?si=lwwplhspHIohIzKM

Handling: https://youtube.com/shorts/c8kLMOrUt0U?si=OH8vIG56trDJlTVF

With another dog: https://youtube.com/shorts/GEf7ujT9dEQ?si=wzfy3gWizOGLiVn1

What Bruce's foster says:
I have been fostering Bruce Wayne for nearly two weeks and he has been adjusting to home life very well. He is learning to "sit" before eating and before going out and in from outside. He loves fetch and is extremely good at it; rarely coming back without the ball; he does not want to stop. Bruce sleeps through the night quietly in his crate at the end of my bed. Last night, I left his crate door open to see what he would do and he stayed in his crate the entire night, even when I got up and left to go to the kitchen. He does not make a peep even when I get up in the middle of the night or in the morning. He is learning boundaries. He wants to know where you are all the time, but is not a velcro dog. He enjoys going for walks. While he is walking a straighter path, he still wants to sniff both sides of the sidewalk. He is interested in other dogs, and wants to play. We have seen cats and he notices them but has little interest in them. Bruce is tentative with all new things before he gets comfortable with them.

What Bruce Wayne's Rescue Rep says:
What a delightful guy! Bruce Wayne has a lot of energy so a capable handler is needed. Lots of exercise will help this guy get settled in. Would be fine in a home with another dog and/or children.

Medical.
In fine health. Neutered, current on vaccinations, microchipped.

Bruce Wayne is located in: San Jose.

If you want to adopt Bruce Wayne, please contact Rescue Rep Dave at david.c.ely@sbcglobal.net
