Meet Bruce! Bruce is a classic beagle mix with a big voice and an even bigger heart. He's a chatty little guy who isn't shy about letting you know when he wants company- and honestly, he just wants to be close to his people as much as possible. After being abandoned in his previous home, Bruce has developed some separation anxiety, so he's hoping to find a dedicated companion who can give him the love and reassurance he deserves. Bruce is incredibly affectionate and full of personality. On walks, he may pause just to give you a hug as if to say, "thank you for being here". He's not a fan of cats due to his strong prey drive and we're still learning how he feels about other dogs- though he does appear to be a bit jealous when he sees them heading out for adventures without him! This determined little guy has even been spotted climbing over shorter fences in search for snuggles, proving just how committed he is to finding his person. Despite being treated for a skin infection from the condition he was found in, Bruce remains cheerful and loving. He keeps his kennel very tidy and treats his blankets with care like the good boy he is. Bruce can be a bit particular about his food but have some cheese and you'll have his attention.
