Bruce's Story

Meet Bruce - the last pup standing from a litter that beat the odds! At around 6 months old, this handsome little guy came to us after we were contacted about a backyard breeder whose puppies had fallen ill and agreed to surrender them. We were able to take in several, and now Bruce is the only one still waiting for his forever family. Bruce is the definition of laid-back and lovable. He's an easygoing puppy who enjoys playing with other dogs, adores kids, and even gets along great with cats. He loves to dig (what puppy doesn't?) and can entertain himself for hours with toys or outdoor adventures. He's still working on his house and crate training, occasionally having accidents here and there, but he's a smart boy who's learning quickly. His foster family describes him as a total delight - friendly, gentle, and always happy to meet new people. He's been a fan favorite at every event he's attended, yet somehow this sweet boy keeps getting overlooked. Bruce is ready to be someone's best buddy, adventure partner, and loyal shadow. Paws of the Pines Rescue's Adoption Policy

Our organization is foster based only therefore we do not have a facility for potential adopters to visit. Often times our social media will share who will be at our upcoming events. A pre-approved application must be on file before we schedule any private meet and greets. Our adoption fees are as follows: ANY small breed dog: $350 Pups under 2yrs: $300 Dogs over 2yrs: $200 Cats: $150

Paws of the Pines Rescue is a small, volunteer ran organization. Our animals come to us as strays, owner surrenders, or shelter pulls. We are ran solely off of donations and have rescued hundreds of animals since our operations began in September 2022.
