Rescued by Good Samaritans who stepped in to save him from an abusive situation, Bruce arrived at the shelter battered and bruised. His body bore the marks of long-term cruelty, but his gentle soul still shines through.<br/><br/>Bruce is incredibly social and has shown himself to be tolerant and friendly with other dogs. He seems to truly enjoy canine companionship, making him an excellent addition to a home with other dogs who can share in his journey of healing. He's an active dog with a zest for life that surprises everyone who hears his story. He has plenty of energy and would love nothing more than a home where he can run, play, and explore. Daily exercise and mental stimulation aren’t just his preferences—they’re his joy. Whether it’s a long walk, a romp in the yard, or an adventure in the great outdoors, Bruce is always ready to go.
