Bruce's Story

After spending a long time at the shelter since January! Im finally free and living my best life in foster care. My friends at Arctic Rescue call me Brucie Boy, and honestly, I think it fits me pretty well. Im a happy, social guy who loves dogs of all shapes and sizes. Ive waited a long time for a soft bed and a full bowl, and Im so grateful to finally have both. Im an easygoing pup whos just learning the rhythm of home life again. I sleep well, eat with enthusiasm (kibble with a bit of canned food, please!), and get along beautifully with my foster siblings. Sometimes I get a little unsure when play gets rowdy, but Im figuring it out fast I just want everyone to be friends! Ive got a big heart, a goofy spirit, and a whole lot of love waiting for the right family. If youre looking for a loyal, dog-friendly companion whos ready to make up for lost time with love and tail wags, I cant wait to meet you. Please note: All Arctic Rescue dogs are marked yes to Needs Experienced Adopter. This is because Northern breeds typically have higher exercise, training, and care requirements than others. We recommend researching the breed before pursuing adoption if you do not have prior experience.

HOW OUR ADOPTIONS WORK: 1) We require all adopters to fill out an online application at: https://www.arcticrescue.com/adopt 2) We are a Utah-based rescue. All potential adopters must come to Utah and meet the dogs. We do not transport dogs. 3) We want to make sure that your home is the perfect fit for one of our dogs and vice versa. We want all members of the family to be happy and well matched with each-other, so require families to do a phone interview, reference checks, meet dogs and pass a home-inspection before adoption.
