BRUCE HERE... AND I’M READY FOR MY FOREVER HOME! Hey everyone! Remember me? I’m Bruce, a handsome 3-year-old mixed-breed boy with a BIG personality, lots of energy, and an even BIGGER heart! I had a pretty ruff start to life. I was badly attacked by other dogs and needed medical care to help me heal. But thanks to Paws for Julia Rescue, I got the care I needed, healed up, and now I’m officially ready to put that chapter behind me! Because guess what?! IT’S TIME TO FIND MY FOREVER FAMILY! Now, you might think after being attacked by dogs I wouldn’t want anything to do with them... WRONG! I LOVE other dogs — big AND small! I’m a playful guy with plenty of energy, and having a doggy buddy to romp around with sounds pretty great to me! Throw me a BALL? I’m there! Bring out the toys? LET’S PLAY! Doggy friends? YES PLEASE! Want some love? I’ve got plenty! I’m also a pretty smart guy. House trained — CHECK! Crate trained — CHECK! Leash manners — working on them! Recall — working on that too! Hey, nobody’s perfect! I’m learning more every day, and I’m getting the hang of it. I absolutely LOVE people, but sometimes I forget that I’m a strong boy. When I get excited, I may jump up and accidentally knock a little human over. I’m not trying to be rude — sometimes my excitement gets to my feet before it gets to my brain! And then we have... CATS. Ummm... probably gonna need to say NO CATS for me. I don’t necessarily want to hurt them, but when I see one run, my brain says: “WAIT!!! COME BACK!!! WE’RE PLAYING CHASE NOW!” Apparently the cats don’t appreciate my game. After everything I’ve been through, I’m still a happy, loving, playful boy who just wants to enjoy life. I’m ready for adventures, toys, ball games, doggy friends, belly rubs and most importantly... A FAMILY OF MY OWN. When adopter finds a pet that they are interested in they would fill out an application, then we will go though it and see if this pet is a good match for the adopter. Once that is done we then ask the adopter to set up a meet and great to meet the dog. If still this is a good match we move on to having them sign a contract with Paws For Julia. Then we collect the adoption fee.
