Brownie's Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. This is Brownie. Brownie was rescued from a terrible horde situation. All the dogs were kept in a falling down shed/garage building. They were chained up and starving. Brownie was nearly emaciated when we found him. It has taken us nearly a couple of years to nurse him back to health. All the other pups from this horde have been adopted, but Brownie remains looking for his own home.

He is estimated at 4-5 years old lab/hound mix. He is neutered and up to date on vaccinations. He is in Texas and we really want to hook him up with his freedom ride north, but we need an adopter or foster to help us out.

Brownie is very dog friendly, but he is a shy with people. He will curl up like a turtle until he knows and trusts you. He would do best in a home with another confident pup because we noticed he does look to the other dogs for cues. He's a really good boy who desperately needs a chance to be a real dog in a home with love, patience, friends, and snacks. Can you be that person for Brownie?

To apply:

https://papitstop.org/adoptables

Kennel # 17451

PA Pitstop

Shillington, PA 19607
