Brownie's Story

Hello! I’m Brownie, thank you for your interest in adopting me! I live in an Alabama Foster Home, but I can be transported to you if you adopt me.

My sisters and I were found stray in a neighborhood. We had been walking for days, looking for food, looking for people to pet us, I don’t know what happened to our family, we never talked about it.

People in the neighborhood were talking. I heard a lady say, “Those dogs have been in this neighborhood for a week, I’m worried about them.” She called us over to her car, so we went running because she smelled so good, and she picked us up and put us in her car! What!! She’s our foster mom now!

I’m fostered with teenagers and my canine sisters. It’s been nice living in a home with a family. I don’t bother anything inside and I never made any messes either. Heidi tells me I’m going to get my own family soon and they will be so proud of me because I’m a good girl. I can be a good girl for you!

I’m spayed, with two puppy vaccines, Bordetella and booster, rabies, microchip, dewormed, and I received a flea and tick pill. I’m seriously healthy and I come with my medical records.

Another Chance Dog Rescue has been adopting dog’s like me to New England families for over a decade. Serious adopters should fill out the application online and someone will be in touch with you. Transport is scheduling now.

Copy and paste the link into your browser.

https://form.jotform.com/212574701956157

My adoption fee includes the cost to transport me to New England, $175, and the cost of a trip to the vet for a health exam and certificate before I leave Alabama, $65. We don't own the van service and the health certificate is required by law. The total fee is $585. I'm worth the one time fee to get me home. It comes out to $1.67 a month for an average lifespan of the dog.
