Brownie's friendly and affectionate nature makes her the perfect companion for any family. She loves snuggling up for some cuddles after a busy day of play, and she'll gladly return all the love you give her. Although she's still a puppy and learning the ropes, she's eager to please and ready to start house training with your guidance. Brownie is looking for a loving family who can give her plenty of attention, playtime, and the care she needs to grow into a happy and well-adjusted adult dog. When you find an animal you are interested in, we ask that you fill out an application on our website, PawsUp4Rescue.org/adopting as a first step so we can determine if your family is a good fit for the animal. If you are, then we will contact you to arrange a time for you and your family to meet the animal so you can decide if it is a good fit. If you currently have dogs, we require them to be present at the meeting to ensure it's a good fit all around. Once compatibility is determined, we move on to the paperwork and finalize the adoption. If the meet is not a good fit, we will keep your application on file for 6 months and will gladly consider your family for another dog. Paws Up 4 Rescue's Adoption Policy

1. The first step is to fill out an application on our website PawsUp4Rescue.org/adoptions. This lets us know you are serious about adopting. We will call and check with your vet to make certain your current pets are up-to-date on their vaccinations and have been spayed or neutered. If you rent, we will also check with your landlord to make sure it's okay that you are adding a family member to your household. 2. The next step is to set up a time to meet your potential pet. If you've already met and fallen in love at one of our adoption events, we can proceed to set up a home visit to see how the animal gets along with the other residents of your home. *Home visits are for the purpose of assessing the relationship between all animals in the home. 3. If all goes well, we proceed to the paperwork stages and end with a new family photograph to share on our Facebook page!
