DOB 9/5/2025)<br/>— 40ish growing pounds<br/>— Spayed, vaccinated, microchipped<br/>— Has done well with other dogs<br/>— Potty trained<br/>— Sweet, playful, loving<br/><br/>PERSONALITY: Sweet, friendly, loves people, playful, average energy for age, enjoys being outside and giving kisses<br/><br/>DOGS: Brownie is in foster with a large female dog who she does great with. She has also met other medium-large dogs and done very well with them<br/><br/>CATS: Unsure<br/><br/>KIDS: Brownie met a 1 year old and 4 year old, which her foster reported she “didn’t have a care in the world about them”<br/><br/>TRAINING: Potty trained. Her foster uses an xpen more so than a crate, but Brownie does well going in her xpen when instructed and settling.<br/><br/>HISTORY: Brownie and her believed brother were found at a healthcare business. They were wormy, a little underweight, and Brownie limping, but the brother had a collar on. We held them for their stray hold before officially intaking them, but unfortunately no owner ever came forward and the rest of their history remains a mystery. <br/><br/>LOCATION: Currently in foster in Barnesville, GA<br/><br/>AVAILABILITY: Available for adoption or foster-to-adopt (FTA). ADOPTION APPLICATION: joyspromise.org/adopt If you are interested in one of our available dogs, please complete the adoption application at joyspromise.org/adopt. If your application is believed to be a potential match after review by our team, we will be in contact to set up a meet and greet. Any resident pets in the home must be spayed or neutered. A home visit is required prior to all adoptions. We do not require a fenced yard (unless case of special circumstance where a specific dog may need a fenced yard). If you rent, we reserve the right to ask for landlord approval on the adoptee pet in your home and any stipulations surrounding pets in your lease. Adopters must live in Georgia. We do not do out of state adoptions. Approved adopters will complete an adoption contract, pay adoption fee, and receive a copy of records at time of finalizing adoption. Joy’s Promise is based out of Jackson, GA.
