Brownie's Story

Meet Brownie!

Age: 8 months Weight: 12 pounds

Brownie is a sweet, gentle soul looking for a forever home where he can truly shine. While he can be a little nervous in new environments or around loud noises, he is blossoming every day, revealing a funny and affectionate personality that is sure to steal your heart. With a little patience, he warms up beautifully and loves nothing more than a good snuggle.

Brownie has a wonderful, balanced energy level. He loves to romp around the yard and play, but he is equally content entertaining himself with a favorite bone or taking a well-deserved nap. He is already doing great with his house training and is fully crate trained, settling down quickly and quietly once he's tucked in.

Brownie is a social butterfly who gets along wonderfully with other dogs, both big and small. He is very respectful of his canine friends, takes cues well, and would thrive in a home with another playful dog who can help him continue to build his confidence.

Because he is highly food-motivated, Brownie is a quick learner! He is currently working on his name and the "come" command, and he is eager to continue his training with a family who can provide a consistent routine. Like many young pups, he is still finding his voice and occasionally likes to bark, but he is working hard on his manners.

Is Brownie the one for you?
If you are looking for a loving companion who will reward your patience with endless sweetness and joy, Brownie is ready to meet you. He has no known health or behavioral concerns and is simply waiting for the right family to help him grow into his best self. Could that be you?

MMDR is entirely foster based. Once your adoption application has been approved, you would schedule a meet and greet with the dog you are interested in adopting, and the foster family. If the meet and greet goes well you would then schedule a time to bring your new dog home. We pride ourselves on matching dogs with adopters. We do not adopt out on a first-come, first-served basis.
