Brooke D18676's Story
Hi, my name is Brooke, I am from Arkansas.

From her foster: Brooke is the sweetest and most mellow dog. She is house trained, doesn't go on furniture, jump up on people, and sleeps through the night in her crate. She loves getting her belly rubbed, curling up in a sunny spot, and would sit outside all day if you let her.

Medical Bio: I arrived at The Bond Between after previously being hit by a car. I needed 2 orthopedic surgeries (FHO) I have since recovered, but I am still a gal that likes a slower, less active lifestyle.

I alsold monitor for any new mass development with a primary arrived with mammary mass that was surgically removed. The biopsy results came back as non-cancerous which is great news. My future adopter shou vet.

I have successfully completed my heartworm treatment and should be rechecked for this around December or January. She will likely need bi-annual labwork +/- echocardiograms with a primary care vet and or cardiologist.

After her heartworm treatment she was seen with the University of Minnesota and diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension. This is currently being managed with a medication; sildenafil, that she will likely be on life long.
