Bronx's Story

Sweet dog dumped on the side of the expressway with his brother only to see him get hit and killed by a car right in front of him ?. Thankfully, an angel saw him and picked him up.
This family had no intentions of fostering and can’t keep him (although they love him and wish they could).
Bronx doesn’t understand why nobody is coming for him ?
Bronx has the most gentle soul. I’ve personally spent time with him and the way he is with the young children in the home is really special to see.
He’s done very well on pack walks with calmer dogs (I’ve been present to witness). He’s not comfortable with dogs that are hyper and in his face. He’s a peaceful guy.
He ?needs to go to a home that’s going to be patient with him and understand that it will take him a little bit of time to decompress and feel safe. He’s already proven with his temporary fosters that with some love and understanding, he is a loyal and loving companion. ?
We think with somebody who understands how to do proper meet and greets overtime, he would do well with another chill dog. But after all he’s been through, it might be best for him to have a house where he gets all the attention. ?
PLEASE SHARE ?so we can find him the home he deserves.
A few more facts…
? Approximately 3 years old
? HW negative
? UTD on vaccines
? Getting neutered the 9-26.
? Approximately 60 lbs.
? Hardly ever barks.
? Shy at first but once he warms up he’s your best friend.
? Super Chill and goofy once he’s comfortable.
? Gentle and good with children who are calm and gentle with him.
? Seems to have very little interest in the resident cats, but would need slow and proper intro to be safe. ?
? LOVES, LOVES,LOVES to spend time with his humans
