Brody's Story

Brody is a new addition so we are still getting to know him. He was at an animal shelter and running out of time as well dealing with kennel stress. Brody is about 3 years old and full of energy. He was apparently adopted from the animal shelter and was returned for being destructive and animal aggressive. Of course we don't have specifics but the shelter did successfully kennel him with another dog for a time. It seems to us that Brody is reactive towards other dogs on leash, something extremely common in our breed, but may be able to get along with another dog. We plan on testing out this theory during his stay with us. Brody will need a home ready to focus on training, boundaries and structure so he can understand exactly what is expected from him in his new home. He will also need an active owner ready to drain any excess energy daily.

Please fill out an adoption application and email it to us at dobierescue@earthlink.net You can then make an appointment to meet the dogs that match what you're looking for if we have any appropriate candidates. Male Dobermans are a $300 donation and currently females are $350. Unfortunately we are having a really hard time getting spay appointments and we have to pay more for their surgeries so we have to ask a higher donation to make ends meet. All dogs go home spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and with a collar/ID tag.
