Brock's estimated birth year is 2022.<br/><br/>Handsome Brock is a Dutch Shepherd mix who was found with 3 other dogs in an abandoned burned out house in Detroit. Unfortunately, Brock was found to be heartworm positive and has completed his heartworm treatment. He will require monthly heartworm preventative for the rest of his life. Brock is energetic, loves to go for walks (great on a leash) and loves to cuddle. WOULD MAKE A GREAT RUNNING PARTNER!! He is a very smart boy who is treat motivated!! Good with other dogs after a slow introduction. Unknown how he is with cats. Children 12 years old or older (NO SMALL CHILDREN IN THE HOME). His forever home is required to have a totally enclosed physically fenced yard where he can safely run, play and hang out with his people. Brock is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, on heart worm preventative as well as house and crate trained. Brock cannot wait to find his forever family who will love him, spoil him and show him everything the world has to offer!!<br/><br/>All dogs we rescue stay with us until they find their forever homes. We do not do same day adoptions. A home visit is required to ensure our dog is going to a safe environment and our dog gets along with your dog(s) and/or cat(s). We require all our dogs over the age of 1 year attend 1 obedience class (6 week session) outside the home. You must live within 1 hour of Birmingham, MI to adopt one of our dogs. No out of state or outside the U.S. adoptions or fosters.
