Brinley's Story

Brinley started life on the streets of Jamaica. She was hit by a car and had to have her right hind leg removed, which was done before she came to the United States. Surviving Hurricane Melissa, this 1-year-old pup was finally on her way to the Scituate Animal Shelter. She is a sweet girl, enjoying belly rubs and attention. She is good with other dogs as well. She does not seem to have much experience on a leash, so will need some patience and training to make her the perfect family pet!

Scituate Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy
Our Adoption Process Please note our adoption application process is not on a first come, first serve basis. When you first arrive at our shelter, you will be asked to fill out a brief survey, which helps us to find the right pet for you. Our adoption counselors act as “matchmakers” and will work with you to find the right match - for both you and the animal - based on the information you have given us. If you don't find a match right away, we will hold your survey on file for several months while you continue your search.
