Brinkley has lived her whole life moving from place to place, and since entering foster, shes enjoyed stability, love, healthy and consistent play, training, and meals. In a short time, shes gone from unsure and clueless of what to do with a ball, to asserting herself to exactly what she wants to do at play. She learns quickly, has a ton of personality, and youll get never ending comic relief from her wonderful silliness. <br/><br/>Brinkley is the cutest lightning bolt youll ever meet. She has demonstrated in a very short time that given some love, attention, and the human management of a chuck it, she will learn whatever you need her to. She is eager, sweet, and loves to play. Brinkley is exceptionally smart, and she will challenge you to a healthy extent. Shes hoping for a disciplined human to give her a job and hold her accountable. She is a blast to enjoy play time; silly, explosive, and loves to chase, even if youre a goose flying at 500 feet or a 737 at 5000! Once you are done playing, shell willingly chill out and enjoy your company with some relaxed time as well. Just make sure to set some boundaries, and shell happily follow your lead.<br/><br/>Brinkley is cautious of other dogs at first, but once called off she refocuses. She will need slow and controlled introductions like any dog. She is friendly with adults and teenagers and will cover new people in kisses. Brinkley rides well in the car, is skeptical; but well-mannered at the vets office, and will alert to loud noises, but settles when asked. She<br/>willingly enters her crate with anticipation of food or a treat, and while she likes to customize her blankets, and stuffies, she doesnt chew things shes not supposed to. Aside from the occasional counter surfing, her house manners are impeccable. <br/><br/>This super smart girl has a huge desire to please, has mastered her basic skills, is working on more advanced ones. Rumor has it shes also studying for the WA State Bar Exam in her down time. Her favorite things in life are her person followed closely by her ball. Her biggest motivators for training are her ball, Tillamook Sharp cheddar cheese, and affection. #YouHadMeAtCheese <br/><br/>Brinkly is looking for an active handler who will continue her training and let her join in as many outdoor adventures as possible.
