Brick's Story

Meet Brick! (Or Brickle Bear as we affectionately call him! lol) Doesn’t he have the cutest face?! He’s such a friendly guy; loves everyone he meets! He does well with other canine companions, but a meeting would be in order to make sure they get along...we want harmony in the house not chaos! lol He’s an extremely active, playful boy; when he's playing with a squeaky toy, he'll start zooming and hopping around, it's funny...he definitely has fun playing with his toys! He also loves to cuddle, so if you're needing a cuddle buddy to watch the game or favorite movie with, he's your guy! :) Another one of his favorite things to do is car rides!! That smile doesn't get any bigger when he realizes he gets to go on an adventure! He loves to feel the breeze in his ears!

Brick is a furkid you can take anywhere, ball games, walking, hiking, family events...he'll win over everyone he meets as he's a very charismatic doggie! We should tell you however that he's a very strong boy! He will need a bit of leash training.

He'll sit or shake for a treat too as he's a very smart boy! He's so smart however that he has developed one bad habit, he's an escape artist. Brickle bear runs with joy when he gets out the door...freedom!! lol Needless to say, a FENCED YARD WILL BE REQUIRED for this furkid!! :) He'll thrive in a safe environment to burn off all that joy of his!

Also, we should tell you that Brick isn't too fond of kenneling, he gets a bit anxious about that, but he will do it if needed. We try to give him toys, treats, radio when in his kennel and that helps (he pants and whines) a bit. We also learned he's not fond of fireworks, poor baby trembles and velcro's himself to you...he'll follow you around and lay at your feet. Thunderstorms are the same reaction, if he senses that's going on outside when let out to potty, he'll run back inside, so he's a big baby when those things are going on, other than that he's ready to take on the world! lol

Brick is approx. 4 yrs old, neutered, microchipped, current on shots and heartworm tested, so he’s healthy and eager to meet his new family! :)

If you’d like to meet Brick, please visit our website at, www.doggonerescue.com, to fill out our adoption application, that’ll get the ball rolling! And please remember before applying, a fenced yard (no invisible fence) will be required to keep him safe. :) We look forward to hearing from you, thanks!

Dog Gone Rescue's Adoption Policy
Thank you for choosing to adopt from Dog Gone Rescue! We are a foster based rescue, hoping to have a building in near future, but until then, we have wonderful foster families that help us care for the furkids until their adopted. In order to meet and hopefully adopt one of our animals, you'll need to visit our website at, www.doggonerescue.com, to fill out Adoption Application. Once we've processed your application, if your family is determined to be a good match, we'll move forward on setting up a meet-n-greet. If all goes well at the meeting, we'll finalize the adoption at that time and you can take your new furry family member home with you! All of our animals up for adoption are: Spayed/Neutered (unless too young), heart worm tested (FIV/Leuk tested for cats), microchipped, flea treated and of course current on all vaccinations. We strive to make sure we adopt out healthy furkids! Our Adoption Fees are: Dog/Puppies - $200 Cats/Kittens - $75/$50 We require all Adopters that have current pets to have them current on shots and fixed, thanks!
