She came from a hoarding case and is ready for the good life! She’s sweet and playful with humans, gets along with dogs of various sizes and while not cat tested it’s believed she would ignore them. She has not met small children but is a typical Chi and may be nervous at initial meetings before warming up. Briar is working on maintaining a healthy weight with canned food and working on her leash skills. She’s low maintenance and happy to take a nap but also has adorable bursts of energy where she hops like a bunny. Due to a collapsed trachea she may reverse sneeze on occasion but is not on any medications. Briar is due for a dental on 11/17 but able to go home right after :)<br/><br/>Albert's Dog Lounge is a specialty rescue focusing primarily on senior and special needs dogs.<br/><br/>Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and then a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $300, ($550 for a pair).
