Meet Briar
We’ve all heard of Emotional Support Pets, right? Well this sweet boy is looking for his Emotional Support Human!
A human that understands neglect.
A human that understands trauma.
A human willing to be his soft landing place while he continues to heal from a broken past…He’s searching for his angel.
Briar is guessed to be around 4 years old. He’s some type of Komondor mix that has been kept in a crate and neglected for years. It was the only life he knew until our rescue stepped in.
He was found matted, smelly, starved and terrified.. but just a short time with some loving fosters and look how far he’s already come.
This boy has a long road ahead of him...he requires patience and needs someone that will be with him most of the day and night as he’s still suffering with separation anxiety from his past.
Briar LOVES to play, is extremely intelligent and willing to please. He can fetch, sit and speak. But other things are extremely confusing for him due to his past. He needs help with potty training. He’s still completely terrified of a crate and a car BUT he lovesssss people, even kids! And he lovesssss furry friends! He’s great around all dogs, cats and chickens. He just needs love and time and a human that’s willing to show him how to trust. This is such a special boy and we know the perfect home is out there searching for him.
