Briar's Story

Briar recently made her way to Utah from New Mexico, and she’s still settling into this new chapter. She’s a petite Chihuahua mix (about 10 lbs), spayed, very sweet and quiet.

At the moment, Briar is shy around people. She may pull away or look for a cozy hiding spot if someone reaches for her too quickly, but if you give her space and let her come to you at her own pace, she’ll choose to sit or lie beside you and allow gentle affection.

Briar gets along well with other dogs and cats, is house trained, crate trained, and enjoys trotting around the house once she feels comfortable.

We’re still getting to know Briar and will update her bio as her personality continues to unfold. For now, her ideal home is with someone patient and understanding who can give her the time she needs to feel safe.
