Briar's Story
Meet Briar, a 6-year-old Chihuahua mix and full-time connoisseur of chin scratches. Once a part-time outdoor explorer, she has now fully committed to the indoor lifestyle-blankets, couches, and warm laps included.

She's a loyal little shadow who follows her humans like they're celebrities, and she absolutely believes any food you're eating should also be "Briar-approved." (She's working on her subtlety... and her house training.)

Briar gets along great with other dogs, enjoys supervising household activities, and prides herself on being 50% cuddle bug, 50% tiny food critic. If you're looking for a quirky, loving sidekick who will adore you endlessly, Briar is your girl.

Briar does need to be adopted locally (near Cape Girardeau, Sikeston, or Herculaneum OR be willing to travel to those areas) as she is heartworm positive and going through treatment.
