Briar's Story

Hi! I’m Briar! I'm looking for my forever home.

As a 4 month old, 25lbs professional cuddler, my joys in life is to snuggle with my foster mom and my canine foster brother. When I'm not busy getting all cozy, I love to romp around a couple times a day. Generally though, I am pretty chill and enjoy napping. My foster mom says that I love to sleep in crazy positions (and under your covers if you allow it!). I am getting better at potty training and rarely have accidents, but I do still wake up a couple times at night. I am comfortable in my crate but cuddling is still my número uno favorite thing to do. I love playing with dogs, but I don’t like when other dogs come on too strong, it makes me a bit nervous. However, once I know a pup, I play HARD. Cats are still weird to me and I usually try to avoid them, but sometimes they are fun to chase after. I am super tolerant of humans and will let you poke and prod me, brush my teeth, and trim my nails. Kisses are my favorite things to give and I’m hoping to find someone to share them with!

If you live in DC/MD/NoVa and would like to add me to your family, apply to adopt me TODAY on our website at https://forms.gle/LjjKbe5voL5eMuL49
-----------------------------------

Due to the puppy's young age, adopter of this puppy must be home most of the day. Adopter will also be required to sign a contract legally obligating you to have the animal altered and include a spay/neuter fee at the time of adoption for a future spay/neuter with one of our affiliated veterinarians.

The puppy is up-to-date on age appropriate vaccines and preventatives. The adopter will need to arrange for the puppy's spay/neuter surgery for when the puppy turns 6 months of age.

If you're viewing this on Petfinder, please visit www.foreverchangedar.org/adopt-a-pet to learn more about our adoption process.
