Bria 's Story
🌼 Bria’s Glow-Up 🌼

When Bria first came into foster, the world felt big and overwhelming. New sounds, new spaces, new people — it was all a lot for this sweet, 27-pound lab mix who’s only about a year old.

But here’s the beautiful part: she’s trying.

Every single day, Bria gets a little braver. House noises aren’t quite as scary. She doesn’t hide as quickly. She startles less. She follows her foster mom everywhere now, her quiet way of saying, “You’re my safe place.”

She still likes to tuck herself under tables when she feels unsure — her cozy little observation post — but she’s spending more time out in the open than she used to. That’s growth.

She’s housebroken.
Bria seems to enjoy other dogs and would truly thrive with a confident, patient dog sibling to help show her that life can be safe and good. She would do well with children over 6 who understand her gentle heart. A home where someone is around more often than not would help her continue building confidence.

Bria isn’t the bold, life-of-the-party dog. She’s the quiet one who bonds deeply. The one who chooses you. The one whose progress feels magical because you know how hard she’s working.

So if you’re ready for a companion with a gentle heart and love that grows stronger every day, this might be your girl. Bria doesn’t rush affection — she learns, she trusts, and then she gives it back in the softest ways. She came in unsure of the world, but she’s finding her courage, one small step at a time. And whoever gets to walk beside her is going to receive something truly special.

And watching her blossom? It’s everything. 💛🐾

http://www.coldnosewarmheart.org/dog-application.html
@cnwhnj @coldnosewarmheartnj
