Introducing Brett! Brett is a 4 year old, 35 lb. Maltese/Poodle mix. He is a true sweetheart who has quickly become his foster family’s little shadow. He follows them with such love and curiosity, always eager to be part of whatever is happening around him. Brett’s gentle spirit shines through in the way he greets new people, dogs, and even cats, always interested, always kind. He’s still perfecting his leash manners (his excitement to explore sometimes gets the best of him!), but it’s clear that every tug is fueled by joy at the thought of new smells, sights, and adventures. Brett is also wonderfully food- and treat-motivated, which makes training a fun and rewarding experience for him. He’s learning his basic commands and tries so hard to please his humans. This sweet boy is fully potty trained, though he does like to take his time to find just the right spot outside. He loves his toys and can sometimes be a little protective of his leash if it’s left lying around—something he’s still working on. Most of all, Brett loves people. You can see it in the way he looks at you, with eyes full of warmth and devotion. Brett deserves to find a forever home where he will be cherished, spoiled, and surrounded by the love and attention he so deeply deserves.
