BREN's Story

Meet BREN! Poor Bren! Dumped at a kill shelter for no fault at his own, and rescued just hours before euthanasia at an overcrowded shelter, beautiful brindle colored Bren has proven to be a loveable lug who just wants a family of his own. Believed to be about 3 or 4 years old, neutered and utd on shots, he’s been a well-behaved houseguest at his foster home. Past any puppy antics, he’s housebroken and non- destructive. Enthused and fun to go on walks or jogs, he’s otherwise content to sleep comfortably or play quietly at all other times. He gets along with other friendly dogs and happily greets people with his favorite stuffed toys which he treats with care. His soulful expressions will melt your heart. And if that’s not enough, he is a look-alike for the starring pup of the Amazon commercial. Catch this star for one great companion! Available to meet by appointment. The Rescue Express's Adoption Policy

All potential foster families and adopters are required to fill out an application, both of which can be found on our website. Our foster families are our biggest resource, and the more foster families we add to our family, the more dogs we can save. Our foster families are required to provide a loving, healthy, temporary home for the dogs that we have pulled from shelters who have yet to find their forever families. The rescue covers all medical expenses while our dogs are in foster care. We also require our foster families to work with one of our trainers to address any behavioral problems that develop.
