Breeze

This precious girl was spied on my last visit to our county shelter, in a sunny pen with a cover over it on a 100plus degree day. She was huddled with her brother and sister. I hurriedly found a foster home and went back to pick up the entire litter. Upon further inspection it was evident that all 3 puppies had been bitten all over their underneath areas by fireants. All fleshy areas had bites and one pup had an infected dog bite on his head. Antibiotics were started immediately. Puppy shots, heartguard plus, wormer, Capstar, then Frontline plus were administered. Amazingly, their vet wellness check went well. Their foster mom is working hard to continue all medications and help socialize them. The only time they have shown fear was when it started to thunder today. The ant bites have now healed and there is no scarring. Miss Breeze is black with some white. She has a terrier coat and her hair sticks out all over her body, especially on her face and ears. She is 8 weeks old (8/15/2007, and acts like a terrier, full of "spit and vinegar"!! But she loves to cuddle in your arms, and also sleeps with her foster mom. If you want a cuddly, with personality to spare, this is your girl.
