Brax's Story

Meet Brax, a 6 and a year old medium sized cattle dog mix who has been at the shelter for over 4 years now. He was found wandering the streets after being abandoned by his previous owner. Until recently, we thought this ladies man didn't like men, but we were proven wrong when he immediately took to one of our male staff members. He is still people selective however, meaning you'd have to meet him multiple times before adoption, as well as having a secure room dedicated to him when guests are over. Brax is a silly wiggly ball of energy that loves to jump, run, and play in the yard. He also likes going on walks and loves playing in water. He is a softie for baby talk and getting pets all over his body, although he isn't much of a cuddler. He is picky about befriending other dogs, but is good with slow introductions to them. However, he can't eat with them as he is protective of his food. Because of his energy level and selectiveness, Brax probably shouldn't go into a home with children or cats.
