Bravo's Story

Our sweet girl Bravo has been waiting far too long for a family to call her own, and we can’t believe we’re the lucky ones soaking up all these precious puppy moments in the meantime.

Bravo came to us with her mama and two siblings, who have all since found their forever homes. Now she’s patiently (and adorably) wondering when it will be her turn. This girl is the perfect mix of sassy and sweet. She’ll snuggle you tight one minute, then flash that playful “catch me if you can” energy the next. Bravo has a big personality packed into her little 6 pound body, and you can't feel an ounce of sadness when she is by your side.

Bravo is currently being fostered with other dogs and is thriving. Because of that, we would absolutely love for her to have a dog companion in her forever home. If not, we are looking for a family committed to continuing her socialization so she can keep building her confidence and friendships.

Bravo is working on potty training still but has mastered the pee pad. She is doing great in her kennel and is sleeping through the night. She meets new people and dogs all the time and after she gets over the initial chihuahua shivers, she is all in.

Bravo is being fostered in Chicago and is accepting applications anywhere in or within 3 hours of distance. She is up to date on her age appropriate vaccinations and prevention (fleas, ticks and heartworm), she has received multiple dewormings, spayed and microchipped which is all included in her adoption fee. If you are interested in being considered a forever home for her please apply directly. If you have any questions prior to applying please email adopt@chicagorescueauthority.org.
