Meet Brandy, an adorable 5 yr old petite lab mix who came to Brookline from Mississippi as a stray and has been living her best life in a foster home.
Brandy was diagnosed with a vision problem, but that doesn’t stop her at all. She loves to go for walks and explore her surrounding looking for critters. She also enjoys playing with squeaky toys and fetching her many balls. As much as she loves to play and explore, she is equally as happy chilling in the yard, soaking up the sun.
Due to her vision issues, she can be stressed around energetic dogs or those who are very vocal, so she would be better in a home with an older or more laid back canine companion. Also, babies and toddlers move too quick for her liking but she wouldn’t mind home with older kids who like to play. She has also learned to co-exist with the cat who lives in her foster home.
Brandy loves when her people are around but is also trustworthy to be left in the house with free roam while they are at work. She knows her basic commands (sit, stay, come, down and leave it) and is super smart and treat motivated.
