Brando

Meet Brando! This smart, sweet, tennis-ball-loving puppy has a big personality and even bigger potential.

Brando is incredibly bright and eager to learn, and he is highly food motivated, which makes training a joy. He is already making wonderful progress with crate training and potty training, with accidents becoming rare. When it comes to toys, he's a professional: tennis balls are his favorite, and bigger is always better!

Brando spent part of his early puppyhood alone in an overcrowded shelter, so he missed some lessons littermates usually teach, like how to play gently. He is learning to channel his big puppy energy and use his mouth appropriately, and with positive reinforcement he gets better every day. He does best with dogs his own size or larger.

Brando will thrive with a dog-experienced adopter who enjoys training and will keep up the structure and consistency he's learning in foster care. Someone who celebrates his progress and gives all that energy plenty of outlets will find a hilarious, loving companion with a whole lot of love to give. He doesn't need a perfect human, just the right one.

Brando is estimated to be 4 months old and 16 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested.

If you are interested in meeting this dog please complete the adoption application on our website at https://safehandsrescue.org/adoption-process/ and then we can contact you about setting up a meeting.

We are also holding the following upcoming adoption events!

Please note: All dogs/puppies will not be at every event, and some may find their home prior to the event. If you are interested in a specific animal, please check our Facebook page for confirmed attendance the morning of the event: https://www.facebook.com/safehandsrescue/
You do not need to have a Facebook account to check the Safe Hands Facebook page for attendance.
